Andrea and I were pleasantly surprised when one of her friends, and her son, dropped by for a few days. Simone and Ocean came all the way from New Zealand to visit family and friends and Andrea was on their list.
The weather wasn't so great so we mostly hung out but Simone's 9 year old son, named Ocean, helped me immensely with the completion of my 1st sculpture 'The DIYer".
I had been working on a sculpture made up of different pieces from our DIY projects that I knew we wouldn't need to use again. Rather than add to the landfill, I decided to create a garden sculpture.
I basically gave the kid a vision of what I wanted and he came up with great, creative and practical ideas that we used to implement in our creation. He named it, 'PeaceC4U" and I plan on putting him in the backyard once the weather gets better.
What do you think?
